Betting on Druids’ Dream is straightforward. You need to set your coin value, anything from 0.01 up to 20, and you will always be betting 20 times the coin value, giving the slot a betting range of 0.20 up to 400. The slot has four high value symbols, the wolf, the owl, the drum and the ocarina (a wind instrument). The lower value symbols are rune-inscribed stones coloured red, yellow, green, and blue.
Payouts are won by landing enough matching symbols along consecutive reels on a payline. In this slot, winning combinations can be formed from left to right from the leftmost reel or from right to left from the rightmost reel, effectively doubling the number of paylines.
The wolf offers the top single payout of 100x for landing five along a payline; it pays 50x for four and 20x for three. The owl will pay 60x for five in a row, 20x for four and 10x for three. There is an ornamental wild symbol that will substitute for all of the other symbols, except for the scatter symbol, to help and form winning combinations. In the main game it can land stacked on reels two and four and in single versions on the other reels.
The scatter symbol will feature one of the two druids who live in the forest. They can appear at the bottom of the wild symbol stacks on the second reel or the top of the wild symbol stacks on the fourth reel in the main game.
In the main game, if the wild symbol stack lands on reels two or four with a scatter symbol at the bottom or top respectively, then this feature is triggered. The stack becomes wild and you are awarded a re-spin for each charged wild. The scatter and wild symbols remain locked in place for the duration of the re-spins.
In the re-spins, if a stack of wild symbols lands on reels two or four without a scatter symbol then the nudge feature is active on the next re-spin for a chance to land the second scatter symbol on the reels. In the main game, the nudge feature is activated together with the re-spins if one stack of wild symbols land on the reels together with a scatter symbol and the second stack of wild symbols lands on the reels without a scatter symbol. The nudge feature ends when the second scatter lands or when the re-spins end.
If you land scatter symbols on both reels two and four in the main game together with stacks of wilds then you will win six free spins. Each of the charged wild symbols on the reels awards an additional free spin. All the wild and scatter symbols that triggered the free spins are transformed into wilds and remain on the reels until the end of the free spins. During the free spins, a stack of wild symbols with a scatter can appear on the third reel and if it does, you win three more free spins.
