Gemix is an arcade slot that is full of precious stones that you can dig up from the mines in order to receive great winnings. The game takes place on a 7x7 grid and behind it, you can see the mines that look to be set in a magical forest. The slot offers a top payout of 1,000 times your bet and there are many bonus features to help you achieve it.
Betting on Gemix slot is very straightforward. There is a slider underneath the reels with different bet amounts on it. You just need to select from 0.50, 0.70, 1.00, 1.50, 2.00, 5.00, 10.00, 20.00, 50.00, and 100.00. Once you are happy with your bet just click on the green 'Spin' button.
The game has eight standard symbols, gems coloured yellow, red, pink, orange, green, purple, light blue and dark blue.
You win a payout by landing a group of at least five matching symbols horizontally or vertically anywhere on the grid. When you form a winning group, those gems will disappear to allow more to fall from above and hopefully form another winning group.
The top payouts are won by landing groups of at least ten symbols. The yellow symbol will payout 1000 times the total bet when a group of fifteen or more land, a group of twelve or more pays 200 times the bet, and a group of ten or more pays 40 times the bet. The red symbol pays 500 times the bet when fifteen land, 100 times the bet when twelve land and 15 times the bet when three land. The pink symbol pays 200 times the bet for a group of fifteen, 50 times the bet for a group of twelve and 12 times the bet for a group of ten. The orange symbol will pay 100 times the bet for a group of fifteen, 25 times the bet for a group of twelve and 8 times the bet for a group of ten. The green symbol pays 30 times the bet for a group of fifteen, 10 times the bet for a group of twelve, and 4 times the bet for a group of ten. The purple symbol pays 15 times the bet for a group of fifteen, 5 times the bet for a group of twelve, and 2 times the bet for a group of ten. The light blue symbol pays 10 times the bet for a group of fifteen, 3 times the bet for a group of twelve, and 1.2 times the bet for a group of ten. The dark blue symbol pays 7.5 times the bet for a group of fifteen, 2 times the bet for a group of twelve, and 0.8 times the bet for a group of ten.
These are a series of bonus features that are triggered by collecting at least 20 gems in a single spin. There are four Crystal Charge features and the ball that is spinning to the right of the grid randomly awards one of them. The Nova Blast explodes a gem and destroys all the adjacent symbols. The Crystal Warp selects a symbol at random and all matching symbols are transformed into other symbols. The Light Beam causes a symbol to blast a ray of light horizontally and vertically, transforming the symbols into matching one. The Chain Lightning sees a flash of lightning pass to opposing corners and changes all the symbols in its path to match the corners. If you collect 40 or more gems in a spin then you receive a x3 multiplier.
As you play, you will travel through three worlds and there are three levels within each world. The levels are completed by matching gems on top of the patterns that you can see underneath the gems. You can also see the grid pattern to the side of the reels. With each win, there is a ‘World Bonus’ amount that increases and you collect that amount when you progress to the next world.
Each world has its own special wild symbol and they can be triggered on non-winning spins. In World One, up to ten miners' lamp wild symbols are added to the grid. In World Two, the lolly pop wild spreads across the screen. In World Three, up to 8 spell book sticky wilds are added to the grid and remain in place as long as the gem matches continue to form.
