Joker Poker is a fun form of video poker that makes it easier to form winning hands thanks to the inclusion of wild cards in the pack. The aim is to build the strongest possible five-card poker hand and you have the chance to win payouts of up to 6400 times your bet if you form a Natural Royal Flush.
Before betting on the game, you first need to decide how many hands you want to bet per round, 1, 5, 10 or 25. You then need to set your bet per hand, which can be anything from 0.01 up to 5, depending on the number of hands played. Finally, you need to set your bet level, from 1 to 5. This gives the game a betting range of 0.10 up to 125.
Payouts are won according to the strength of the hand that you have built. It follows the standard poker hands and will payout for anything that is Kings or Better. If you are betting one coin per hand then Kings or Better pays 1x, Two Pair pays 1x, Three of a Kind pays 2x, Straight pays 3x, Flush pays 5x, Full House pays 8x, Four of a Kind pays 14x, Straight Flush pays 50x, Joker Royal Flush pays 100x, Five of a Kind pays 200x, and a Natural Royal Flush pays 800x.
If you are playing with more than one coin then the payouts are multiplied by how many coins you have bet. For instance, if you were playing with five coins then a Flush would pay 25x (5 x 5). This rule is true for all hands except the Royal Flush, which offers a boosted payout of 6400x if you are betting five coins per hand.
As the game’s name suggests, the Joker is the wild card and it will substitute for all of the other cards to help you form a stronger poker hand.
If you win then you are offered the chance to gamble your winnings, or half of them, to try to increase the payout. In the gamble game, you can double your winnings if you correctly guess the colour of the next card or quadruple the winnings if you can guess the suit.
